La Paon

Check this out! My beautiful peacock necklace finally arrived today by airmail! Isn't it gorgeous? I found this on the Etsy site and its made by Courtney & Christina Spivak from White Owl http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5633312

work in progress

It's been a while since I posted a message. I've been really busy lately and during my spare time I've been knitting on a cardigan. It's made out of this beautiful blue felted tweed yarn from Rowan.

Meeko

This is Meeko, my little squirrel. I made this for Gilles, Aline's son, which I was supposed to visit tonight. But since I have the flue, I won't be able to go. Fortunately, that gives me a lot of time to crochet and knit in my bed. I have made this amigurumi from scratch, without any pattern.

Mariella's Unusual Fantasy Funny Animals

Unbelievable. I just discovered the most amazing amigurumi maker on internet. Meet MUFFA or Mariella's Unusual Fantasy Funny Animals : http://muffa-minis.blogspot.com/

She makes amigurumi that are only a couple of milimeters big, or should I say small. Waw.

Arizona

Meet Arizona.
You might remember the little chick I made for Arthur, Sofie's son. A couple of weeks ago we met again and Arthur was all dressed up like he was going to ride a horse (with the boots, and the pants, and all the other little details ...) When I asked him if he wanted me to make him a horse, he imediately shouted out Yes. And when I asked him about the colors he wanted, he didn't even have to think: a dark brown horse, with a white spot on the nose and blond manes. Boy, he sure loves horses. I hope he's going to like this one. It's a little bit smaller than I had hoped, but it'll do. I found the pattern on http://www.crochetville.org .

So true

"Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves."
Albert Einstein

Scarf

This scarf was made as a Christmasgift for my stepdad Frank. It's made out of very nice brown and grey lambswool. The pattern is inspired by something I saw on http://www.fiddlesticksknitting.com. I choose that one because I thought it was a very masculin pattern. The scarf is 23 cm large by 200 cm long. Frank loves it, because it's long enough to wear it tied with a loop and it doesn't scratch him to much ;-)

Alice & Alice

Meet Alice & Alice.
Baby Alice was born on May 3rd 2009 and amigurumi Alice was made specially for her (in a hurry) to greet her at the hospital. Aren't they cute together.
Amigurumi Alice is of course inspired by the story of Alice in Wonderland and by something I had seen on internet (sorry, I can't remember where).
The beautiful wooden letters on the train wagons are made by Alice's dad, Tony, and were used for her birth announcements.
